Adoption Update: We're Approved!

Just thought you'd like to know that we received the official word today that our adoption application has been approved! We hadn't heard from our agent in a few weeks, so yesterday I emailed to ask for an update. He replied that he was going to double-check with the secretary to be sure they had everything they needed. So we were really surprised to get the email today that notified us that we had been officially approved.

So now our profile will be available online for prospective birth parents to peruse, and the agency will begin showing our scrapbook page and letter and stuff to the birth parents that come into the office. Now that we are online it's just a matter of waiting and praying for a match. It could be just a few months, or it could be a couple of years. Either way, we'll be so excited when it happens. For now we'll just keep saving our pennies for the adoption fees and praying for the opportunity to be parents.
