Five Minutes from Fort Lauderdale

This week there is actually something interesting to write about. We're in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I attended a client support trip for Cerner and finished three consecutive 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) this morning. I flew down on Monday for orientation and then swung down to Sun Life Stadium to catch a Marlins baseball game. Brookie and Savannah joined me Tuesday. The sleeping arrangements weren't that bad.

Now that the business component of this trip is over, we can really start having some fun. Today also happens to be our 7th anniversary (Yay us!). So after checking out some of the shopping attractions this morning, we're going to go find a good seafood restaurant and enjoy a nice dinner together.
