Savannah Visits Santa
Last Friday night we ventured out to Bass Pro Shops to get a picture of Savannah with Santa Claus. For some reason, I thought it would be nice to have that picture of her first Christmas. We waited in line for an hour, and would have waited another hour, but it was getting late, and Culvers was still calling (so was Savannah's bedtime). So we left our place in line, and headed out for some delicious burgers.
We decided to try again Saturday morning, and thought we would get there right at the beginning. We did, but we were still about an hour away from him. I know, we probably could have just gone to the mall, and paid the $5 for a picture. Being a Saturday morning, though, we decided to stick it out. Luckily, they had "A Christmas Story" playing (no doubt for the parents' benefit). Finally we got up to see Santa, and the picture was worth it! Not smiling...but at least not crying! And Santa was extra impressed with her little outfit, and Mom and Dad got to eat the candy cane!
