Savannah's Birthday

Savannah wanted an Incredibles birthday this year, which is why her hair is purple, because she wanted to look like Violet. On her actual birthday, we went to a spray park and Costco for lunch for hot dogs (her request). That evening we gave her a new bike, and went to the Scouts bike activity, then came home for ice cream.

On her party day, we had lots of fun! After a breakfast party with family, we had little girls here in the afternoon to help celebrate! They all got incredibles T-shirts and made masks and had some snacks. Then it was time for hero training: crawling through a later beam maze (yarn), saving babies and animals from a burning building (streamers over a princess tent that they climbed through), then various speed and agility activities using pool noodles. To finish off the party, we had fruit pizza. Neither of us really like cake, so we saw a fruit pizza with an incredibles logo, and thought that would be great. Now, our kids are used to eating our weird/eclectic food...but the poor other kids weren't so used to it. Savannah ate it all, but there were lots of other, "This is gross," "What is that?" "I don't like it," comments. That's okay...It was good fruit pizza! So it was a really fun party! We all had a good time.

In addition to the bike, Todd made her a sign for her room. She wasn't as excited about that as the bike, but I know she will appreciate it more in the future.
