Savannah's Birthday

We had a fun Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory birthday for Savannah this year! Daddy dressed up as Willy Wonka. When the kids got here, golden tickets in hand, they waited on the porch for Willy Wonka to come out. He greeted the kids and welcomed them into his factory. The kids made their own pretend candy, searched for missing candy, learned an oompa loompa dance, did chocolate dipping, and turned Savannah into a giant blueberry. We had a great time! In the evening we also got to have a pizza party dinner with family too!

On Savannah's actual birthday, we went with our adoption play group to a spray park. In the evening Savannah got to ride her new scooter (which she is super happy about) at Murray Park, and then we went to get ice cream.

Recently, while Todd was at scout camp, I also took the kids to a BYU Family Art Festival. It was a movie theme, so the kids got to do some crafts, put on movie makeup (she said that was her favorite part), dress up, and see a cool exhibit with costumes from movies. After the festival, we went to the Provo spray park. A fun day, especially while we were waiting for Daddy to come home!

And guess who learned how to smile!!!
