Article of Faith Party

One of our goals last year was to memorize the Articles of Faith as a family, which we did by learning the songs from the Children's Songbook. To celebrate achieving our goal, we had a 13 Articles of Faith Party on January 13th. We "passed off" each article of faith one at a time, and for each one passed off, we got an ingredient for our sundaes. The thirteen ingredients we had were: spoons, bowls, peanut butter crunch ice cream, chocolate ice cream, m&m's, pretzel m&m, mashed up cookies, another kind of mashed up cookies, chocolate raisins, rolos, granola, chocolate sauce, whipped cream. We successfully passed them off and had a fun time devouring our sundaes!

Speaking of devouring things...some amazing friends from KC sent us this little surprise in the mail, which we inhaled last night at dinner. It was all our favorite things from Jack Stack BBQ: pork burnt ends, beef burnt ends, bbq baked beans, and their famous cheesy corn bake. Yum!!!

A few other recent adventures included: Savannah riding the ferris wheel with Daddy and taking a train ride on a day off work to visit downtown (the Beehive House, the church history museum, an indoor picnic at the mall, and the H&M store for some amazing kids clearance items).
