Early December Celebrations

We have been enjoying our early December Christmas events. We have been able to go ice skating, visit the festival of trees, participate in the Herriman Sing-a-long, make dinner at the ronald mcdonald house, visit beautiful temple square, and make christmas treats. This year we made kleijners (a danish cookie), gingerbread cookies, and chocolate covered puff popcorn. We have also been enjoying studying about the Christmas symbols, which we had put together this year (if you would like a copy of the booklet, let us know).

Savannah has been so excited about going in to primary in January. We have had a couple of emotional breakdowns, with her crying, "I just want to be in sunbeams right now." All this month they have been taking the 3-year old nursery kids in for some of primary to help them practice. And this last Sunday they invited the incoming Sunbeams to sing with the primary in sacrament. They sang "Picture a Christmas." I was definitely more excited than her. But she did great for her first sacrament meeting singing!
