Cousins and October Fun

Savannah has really been enjoying getting to know cousins. It's a pretty new and fun concept for her. It's been good to be able to support and attend family events, as this hasn't really been possible for a long time. We have had two funerals, a baby blessing, hospital visits, opportunities to serve, a first-time-through the temple, and lots of fun get-togethers.

October was a good month for outdoor Halloween activities. We had a few visits to pumpkin patches. Some dress-up activities. And some delicious cookie making and delivering. We also visited Gardner Village to check out all the Witches.

Of course, there was also Halloween. We dressed up as Snap, Crackle, & Pop (Todd loves cereal). Halloween evening we had a spooky dinner of mummy and ghost pizzas, monster brains (acorn squash), witch brooms (cheese on pretzels), and bones with blood (bread sticks and sauce). Savannah had a fun time trick or treating and loves choosing a treat from her bucket after she finishes her food.

At the end of October we participated in a community adoption walk in Salt Lake. It's always fun to see other families as passionate about adoption as we are!

And on Sunday we got some snow, so Savannah got our her snow boots, found these paper rolls, and decided that she would go skiing.

Savannah loves having two uncles on missions. We are so grateful to for our missionary brothers! She drew this picture of my brother, Bryce. She told me it was a picture of Bryce and that he is wearing goggles.
