Five Minutes This Friday: Back Home
Going on vacation is always fun. We had a great time in Fort Lauderdale. I'm so glad Brookie and Savannah could join me down there. I would have been pretty bored without them.
Coming home is always nice. And, as a nice little bonus, on the way home from the airport via I-435, we get a great view of the Kansas City Temple. It's gorgeous how it just seems to pop out of the trees. We can hardly wait for it to be completed.
Getting back to work can be hard. After our trip to Florida last week, I've had a bit of trouble getting back into my routine. Those middle-of-the-night 12-hour shifts finally started to take their toll on me a little bit this week. I've been a little more likely to lay in bed after the alarm goes off.
